The roots of the shrines and temples in Nikko, which are famous given their designations as world heritage sites, date back to more than 1,200 years ago. At that time, Shodo Shonin, a Japanese Buddhist priest, established a temple on Mount Nantai, considered to be カジノレオ 出金acred mountain. Upon seeing the Nikko area at the foot of Mount Nantai from its summit, Shodo Shonin allegedly said that it looked like the Land of Happiness. For this reason, a number of shrines and temples were established in Nikko and the natural environment still remains intact, resulting in a fantastic area that boasts a combination of magnificent nature and shrines and temples that clearly reflect the culture and history that can only be experienced here.
Mount Nantai Tohai Taisai, from which you can sense this history, is the biggest festival of Futarasan Jinja Chugushi Shrine. The festival has been held for more than 1,200 years and has its roots in the faith in Mount Nantai.
At this traditional event, participants climb the mountain, which is 2,486 meters high, to visit Okumiya, the rear shrine on the summit. The total distance is approximately 6 km and the elevation difference from the starting point to the goal is about 1,200 meters. At midnight on August 1, the night mountain climbing season opens and participants start climbing the mountain to reach its peak. There are a number of Shinto gateways called Torii that represent the sanctuary of the shrine, and participants can work out how far they have trekked by counting the number of gateways they have passed through. At the top, participants can enjoy the beautiful early morning sunlight as they receive a lucky charm, a certificate for reaching the top, カジノレオ 出金acred water.

During the festival period, a variety of events are scheduled to be held in the grounds of shrines and temples and in the town, including the Miyama Dance, the Kojin Pageant, and the Fireworks Festival over the Lake.
