The Ouchi-juku snow festival is held every year on the 2nd Saturday and Sunday in February, when Ouchi-juku is covered with pure white and deep snow.
The snow lanterns decorating the roadside and the fireworks launched up into the clear winter skies are truly magical!
There are a ton of other highlights, including taiko drum performances and soba eating competitions! An enjoyable festival worth checking out.
