The Kanmangafuchi Abyss is located along the Daiya River in Nikko. Here around 70 ojizo, guardian deities of children, are lined up. They are also called the “changing ojizo” because when you count the number of ojizo here, the numbers are different when going and returning. Look closely and the expressions of each ojizo appear different! The Kanmangafuchi Abyss is a little far from the main street, making it recommended for visitors who like relaxing atmospheres! A must-visit during your Nikko trip!
