Odashirogahara is a marshland with a circumference of 3 kilometers stretching across the west side of the Yukawa River, which flows from Yunoko Lake. Its land area is around ¼ of Senjogahara’s.
In autumn, you can encounter the beautiful scenery featuring the yellow leaves of the Mongolian oak trees and the autumn grass. In addition, the single Japanese white birch that grows in the center of the marshland, called the “noblewoman of Odashirogahara,” is incredibly beautiful. Countless people come here looking to take great photos! The best time to visit every year is from late September to mid-October! Be sure to check it out!
